Named valleys

AION 2 Atreia

Atreia in AION 2 is the world 36 times larger than original AION, set 200 years after the Tower of Eternity fell. The English teaser names ten pieces of ground rather than a full continent list: five Elyos sites in Verteron and five Asmodian sites in Altgard. Read those names before you fly them. Official screenshots show plateau cliffs, a blue crystal cavern, a festival platform, and a Dragon Lord silhouette — altitude is built into the map, not painted on later. Elyos start in Cantas Valley; Asmodians start at Safe Haven.

Verteron: Dawn Legion ground

Cantas Valley is the spine of the Elyos teaser. Dawn Legion Base sits inside it as a hidden command center. The valley used to move Odylium; it now gathers the Dawn Legion. Ellun River Marsh is the high ground downstream, a former Barrier Tower site now held by Illusion Cavaliers. Aullaeu Village on the Tolbas Forest edge is the settlement tied to Balaur servants and forest trouble. Altamia Canyon in the east is the drowned Zumion Temple, watched by the Notos Legion after Meslamtaeda.

Those five names are the entire Elyos teaser set. NC has not published a Verteron flight ceiling, node list, or quest chain for the Steam client. What you can use at launch is the geography: a hidden base, a river marsh with elevation, a forest-edge village, and a flooded canyon. Fly those relationships instead of waiting for a 200-zone dump. Elyos start here.

Altgard: Safe Haven and the Dredgion

Safe Haven is the Asmodian teaser camp: a northern Altgard human town that once hid fugitives and survived the Dredgion crash. The wreck itself is a sealed Fafnir Legion site with Drakana in the soil. Sanctum Outpost occupies fallen Zikel's Sanctum and turns Daevas into Fafnites. Moslan Forest around Basfelt Ruins was an Elim and Nornir sanctuary until High Priest Hystan burned it. Nornir Assembly is where those refugees went, under Urd of the Three Sisters of Fate.

Asmodian ground is a crash, a conversion camp, a burned wood, and a refugee assembly — a different elevation story from Verteron's river and canyon. The teaser still expects you to fight in the air over both. Flight is how you cross those drops. Expedition is how you leave the open valley for a 5-player or 10-player instance. Fafnites are converted Daevas at Sanctum Outpost; they are not a create-a-character faction on Steam.

36 times larger, 200 years later

Official copy states the world is 36 times larger than original AION and the story sits 200 years after the Tower of Eternity / Aion Tower fell. Those two numbers are the scale claim. The teaser still only names ten starter sites, so the extra area is not a list of extra slugs on this atlas. What you get at launch is a bigger map with the same faction split and with flight designed into the cliffs you can already see in the plateau still.

Poeta and Ishalgen appear in the Dragon Lord teaser as burned names, not as Steam character-create zones. Verteron and Altgard take that starter job. The blue cavern still and the festival platform still show that the extra space includes underground and elevated stages, not only wider fields. Use the ten-row table as the named ground you can actually study before 5 October, then fly whatever NC opens beyond it.

How to fly the ten named sites

Read the Elyos five as a river-to-canyon line: Dawn Legion Base, Cantas Valley, Ellun River Marsh, Aullaeu Village, Altamia Canyon. Read the Asmodian five as a crash-to-refuge line: Safe Haven, Dredgion Crash Site, Sanctum Outpost, Moslan Forest, Nornir Assembly. Those ten names are the teaser set. NC has not published a full continent list for Steam.

The world is 36 times larger than original AION and sits 200 years after the Tower fell. Extra area is not extra slugs on this atlas. Fly the named drops first. Ellun is high ground. Altamia is a flood. The Dredgion is a sealed pit. Then spend Odyle on a Steam solo, 5-player, or 10-player instance. Korea’s 4-player and 8-player sizes stay on the expedition table as a live-build fork. Official stills of plateau cliffs and a blue cavern sit on the flight route; the plateau still on this page is the named-ground evidence from the Steam gallery. Poeta and Ishalgen remain burned names on the Dragon Lord teaser, not Steam create-a-character zones. Verteron and Altgard take that starter job for Elyos and Asmodians. Nornir Assembly is led by Urd of the Three Sisters of Fate. Sanctum Outpost converts Daevas into Fafnites. Moslan Forest was burned by High Priest Hystan. Those facts are the teaser, not a full continent dump.
